Today I was learning about summer sounds. These are the new words I learned,
Percussive is a striking or beating musical sound,
Cicada is an insect which makes a droning sound.
I wrote a poem about summer sounds and I made a video about summer sounds.

This activity was super fun as it gave you the opportunity to slow down and listen to all the sounds that make up summer.
I think you filled out the slides really well and I enjoyed watching and listening to your summer sound. I love the beach but don’t live close to one anymore so it was exciting to see you enjoying the beach.
The activity asks you to write a poem based on your summer sound so do you think you could have a go at writing a poem and include it in this post.
