Pronouncing Maori place names correctly.

Today I watched a video by Sharon Holt about pronouncing Maori place names correctly. She told us to be aware of how we pronounce the vowels a,e, i,o, and u. It was like phonics. This is very important for the vowel u.  She used the example of Aotearoa. Each letter must be pronounced slowly. She told us to practice this when we see them in the car.
